Welcome to Aschermann Charolais
"Hello we are Larry and Peggy Aschermann" We are located in Southwest Missouri near Carthage and East of Joplin, MO. Our roots have always been in the cattle industry. We have bred, raised and shown Charolais cattle since 1993 when we purchased our first registered Charolais females. "Our goals" are simple, to produce Charolais seed stock that are easy calving, fast growing, highly maternal and produce a premium grade carcass. Today top quality and yield grade is important in every seed stock program. We have used almost exclusively pedigrees with proven carcass results.

Show Cattle! Collecting Purple ribbons has never been our plan, but selection for eye appeal and dispositions are very important to us. Our belief is that performance and carcass cattle can look good too. With limited show ring, we've had, two National Division Champion Bulls and another was Reserve Grand in Denver. One of the featured herd sires prospects in our 2004 sale, ACE-ORR Little "E" 314 Polled. was the Missouri State Fair Reserve Grand Champion Bull. In 2005 we donated a top heifer to the National Junior program. In 2006 she was selected Grand Champion Heifer in the Junior Show at the American Royal. We believe in the Junior Program and are proud to have donated a winner!
"AICA" On the National level, I've been an active participant at most of the membership meetings. My agenda has been straight forward. Do whatever it takes to increase market share and improve the prices received for seed stock producers and our commercial customers.

Eye Appeal- as long as buyers want to see what they're buying, eye appeal is very important. Now don't think we've gone crazy and just produce soft, pampered, show-type cattle. Not so! Our program is based on "Performance first, carcass genetics second and eye appeal third."
Showing cattle on a national level and winning is a way to verify that we have better cattle than most. Just because we are from the Ozarks doesn't mean we don't produce of some of the best Charolais in America.
