It's all about the girls... and it always has been!   We Artificial breed over 200 head of females.  Almost one half of our herd is the result of our aggressive Embryo Program.   Most of the rest are A. I. Sired.   We breed our females to come back from the show ring and go onto produce your next show heifer, steer or bull prospect.  Maternal is important to us.  The reference cows below have made a huge impact upon our breeding program........

After much study of the available gene pool in the Charolais breed, Three Trees Ranch in Georgia focused its efforts on the cow family that descends from Nancy 13, going back to the two full sisters, WCR Miss Century 283 and WCR Miss Century 920.  From these two females came two dominant sires of our breed - Mac 2244 and SirT 2254.  Equally impressive maternal cow lines that have had a tremendous influence on our breed has been WCR Miss Mac IV 8501, WCR Miss Duke 8742, WCR Miss Perfection 1107, WCR Miss Mac IV 5138 and JCA Ali ET.   Whose influence dominates the ACE herd.

One of the most prolific dams of our breed, Miss Duke 7717 was in the Ace herd and still producing quality at 18 half years of age in 2005.  With a beautiful udder she's one of many breeders favorite cows.  There are 38 registered progeny with AICA including her first natural calf born 3-7-89 before her second birthday.  He was a bull calf with a 779 pound adjusted weaning weight ratio.  And she's never quit.  Second calf's WWR: 112; third calf's WWR: 107, etc.  Her 2005 natural son has been retained as an ACE herd sire.

The matriarch of the Megan cow family is WCR Miss Tradition 316.  She is one of the first Tradition 066 daughters to ever be flushed.  She has been one of the most exciting females ever flushed at Three Trees Ranch.  In her first flush she produced the popular ABS Global, total performance sire ACE-LC Tornado 9316 P ET, who sold for $16,000.  The only three daughters that Larry has ever sold was to Three Trees, Gilbert Link and Steve Smith for an average of $5,217.  Several other sons have sold into purebred herds including Greenleaf, Dr. Duncan and Everett Buckner.  Local elite commercial breeder, Ernie Giddens, also purchased a great son.  She has produced extremely thick and moderate brood cow daughters and granddaughters.

Ms Bud 418 started her illustrious career as "the only full sister to Budmydad in the world."  But she has made a name for herself as an over proudctive brood cow with one of the great udders in the breed.  Ms Bud 418 and a calf at side commanded $21,000 in the Thousand Oaks and Friends Sale .  One of her sons, ACE Paparazzi 0418, won his class at the National show and an interest sold for $8,700 in the Houston Sale of Sales.  Many of the best cattle produced at Southern Cattle Co in Florida are progeny of Ms Bud 418.
